This combat, if you have a Companion you can have an additional stances in play.

Companion

Your Companion is a loyal battle-ally that will assist you during combat. Whenever you play a card that lets your Companion act, it plays one of the cards they have access to at random.

Stances are special fighting techniques that can be adopted through various cards. Only one Stance can be active at one time.
